We’re looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Project Manager (or Project Manager, depending on experience).  This person will play an essential role in helping plan, organize, and oversee custom home projects while developing the skills and experience to grow into a senior management role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning and managing all phases of custom home builds and renovations.
  • Review and help interpret architectural drawings and project specifications.
  • Track schedules, budgets, materials, and subcontractor progress to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, safety, and quality control.
  • Support field staff and subcontractors by resolving day-to-day questions and issues.
  • Communicate regularly with project managers and company leadership about project status.
  • Participate in client meetings and contribute to clear, professional communication.
  • Maintain positive relationships with homeowners, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Assist with documentation, budgeting, and project tracking through Buildertrend or similar software.
  • Help develop and refine internal systems for improved project efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in construction, remodeling, or related field (formal construction management education a plus).
  • Strong interest in construction, design, and business operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings (training provided as needed).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications; experience with Buildertrend or project management software a bonus.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
